Artist Rho Eunjoo (b.1988) expresses discarded objects in the city through unfinished and ambiguous state paintings. Rho aims to capture the sensation of change by exploring objects over an extended period and transferring them into paintings. Rho’s solo exhibition, currently held at Chapter Ⅱ in Seoul’s Yeonnam-dong, showcases works representing materials found in gardens, such as withered flower stems and tangled wires. Through drawing, modeling, and photography, the artist records and depicts the interaction between these objects and spaces. The exhibited pieces explore temporality and the sculptural aspects of floating objects by depicting objects entangled into masses or changing based on the direction of light, expanding the sense of perception.
