Established in 2001, the SONGEUN Art Award
is an annual initiative aimed at discovering and supporting talented
contemporary Korean artists. This year, a total of 598 artists applied, and 20
finalists were selected following a preliminary screening in February.

SONGEUN Art Award Exhibition”—including Gu Na, Koo Jamyoung, Kim Wonhwa, Noh
Sangho, Park Jongyoung, Bae Yoonhwan, Shon Soomin, Song Yehwan, An Yuri, Yaloo,

Since its reorganization in 2021, the
SONGEUN Art Award has expanded the number of exhibition participants to 20
while maintaining its exhibition-based evaluation process. Additionally, the
program has significantly enhanced its benefits through collaborations with the
Seoul Museum of Art and Cartier.
The grand prize winner of the 24th SONGEUN
Art Award will be chosen through rigorous evaluation by external judges during
the exhibition period and announced in January 2025.
The winner will receive a cash prize of 20
million KRW, support for a solo exhibition at SONGEUN within three years, and
sponsorship by SONGEUN and Cartier for the acquisition of two works (worth
approximately 30 million KRW in total). These works will be added to the
collections of the SONGEUN Art and Cultural Foundation and the Seoul Museum of
Art, respectively. The winner will also be granted a one-year residency
opportunity at the Seoul Museum of Art Residency Program.
Additionally, all 20 participating artists
are eligible for the SONGEUN Art and Cultural Foundation – Delfina Foundation
Residency, established through a partnership with the Delfina Foundation in
London. One selected artist will receive full support to participate in a
12-week residency at the Delfina Foundation.
