Hapjungjigu presents a special exhibition “Painters’ Night: Rolling Chronicles” on view through July 21.

"Painters' Night" is a painting project that explores the individual ways of being of contemporary artists and the possibility of solidarity as a sensory community. The inaugural exhibition, "Painters' Night: Rolling Chronicles," begins with Hyunseon Son and Leeje collecting the timelines of 13 participating artists and dictating them onto the exhibition wall.

Written on the white walls of the exhibition space, the artists' time flows or turns, continues or stops, scatters or gathers. Each past meets a new future in the present exhibition space. By transcribing the chronology of 13 painters, It is expected to imagine their way of being and the possibility of solidarity as a sensory community.

The exhibition, featuring artists Noh Won Hee, Wu Bak, Jina Park, Sen Chung, Fay Shin, Sunny Kim, Hyunseon Son, Eunsil LEE, Leeje, Hyein Lee, Nosik Lim, Jeong Yongkook, and Heemin Chung, will be accompanied by weekly weekend roundtable.
