The upcoming art fair Define Seoul, presented by Art Busan, one of South Korea’s most prominent art fairs, will take place from the 1st to the 5th of next month in the Seongsu-dong area of Seoul. Define Seoul, which combined “design and fine art” to produce its name, seeks to redefine the way art is perceived and engaged with.
The event will feature a diverse range of domestic and international galleries, design studios, and premium brands, showcasing design and art that has been gaining global attention within the city of Seoul. It specifically aims to provide visitors with an experience that feels like exploring the spaces of collectors.
Define Seoul will also offer a wide range of programs, including Define Talk, which will provide in-depth insights through conversations with various figures in the art world, as well as roundtable talks sponsored by the Italian Embassy and collaborative sessions with local partners, allowing attendees to delve into the contemporary art scene. Renowned designer Yang Taeyo, the first Korean to be listed in the world’s top 100 designers by Architectural Digest, is the director of the inaugural edition.
