New Spring Project presents a three-person exhibition “My Word In Your World” by Winter Gyeoul Kim, Chansong Kim, and Jo Jae, on view through July 21.

In an era where we are accustomed to an excess of concrete visual information due to the development of digital technology, and the sense of abstraction is becoming increasingly unfamiliar, this exhibition is designed with the intention of making abstract works by young artists more accessible to the viewer.

This exhibition, “My Word In Your World,” aims to talk about “abstraction” as a process of thought in which an individual’s senses, emotions, and non-verbal memories are not bound by reality but unfold freely in the process of accepting life’s complex time, events, people, relationships, and society. It is expected to be a time to awaken the alienated senses by encountering the different colors and forms of time, special stories, and communication languages that are inherent in the artists.
