The City of Jeonju and Seonosong Art Space have announced their support for a project that enables the public to view works by ten local artists across seven shops in the Nosong-dong area (Nosong Plaza), in conjunction with the launch of the “Our Shop Art Repository” project.

Running through September 30, the “Our Shop Art Repository” project presents over 50 works by ten local artists—including Kim Jiwoo, Kim Seung Joo, Kim Won, Moon Mean, Park Jinyoung, Lee Ruri, Lee Hong Kyu, Miryu Yoon, Yun Cheol Gyu, and Choi Jiyoung—across seven venues: Neuru Restaurant, Mix Coffee, Best Bean Coffee, One Spring Day, What Coffee, Café Komodo, and Coffee Bean. The exhibition encompasses a range of genres, including Korean painting, Western painting, and sculpture.

This initiative, realized through collaboration between the local government, artists, and small business owners, provides regional artists with opportunities for exhibition, promotion, and sales, as well as support for artwork rental fees. At the same time, participating small businesses receive tailored assistance, including rent support, enhanced store image through art display, and promotional benefits. The project is expected to revitalize the Nosong-dong area and Nosong Plaza.

Kim Seong-hyuk, Director of Seonosong Art Space, stated, “The ‘Our Shop Art Repository’ project offers Jeonju citizens an opportunity to experience the diversity of art, while enabling local artists and small business owners to move forward together through the strength of solidarity.” He added, “We will continue our efforts to expand the project through sustained support.”
