Wumin Art Center, directed by Lee Yongmi, presents its 2025 thematic exhibition 《ThinkSpace》 from May 1 through June 21.

《ThinkSpace》 examines decentralized processes of thought in which “thinking” is no longer completed solely within a fixed subject but instead operates through complex interactions with external elements such as space, objects, language, and social structures.

The exhibition brings together five artists who expand the terrain of contemporary art—Byun Sanghwan, Ahn Sanghoon, Lee Byungho, Jeehee Kim, and Cha Seungean—transforming the institutional space of the museum beyond the boundaries of everyday life into a field for thought and exploring the practical possibilities of creative thinking through works that stimulate the senses.

Within artistic experiences removed from everyday environments, “thought” does not move toward a fixed answer but travels and emerges within an open space, forming a new terrain of thinking where sensation, perception, and memory intersect.
