The exhibition 《About One Thing》 shows the process by which Josef Čapek's literary world is transformed into sensory objects through the body of artist Lim Jeong Soo. While translating Čapek's ‘Tales of a Dog and a Cat’ into Korean, the author focused on perceiving things from a non-human* perspective.

The non-human perspective goes beyond the scope of spoken or written language, and it is precisely these overlaps or cracks that the artist transforms into her own visual codes. Through translation and creation, the stories materialize into the form of a book and physical objects. The exhibition can also be seen as an attempt to transform something very familiar and return it to our everyday experience in transformed form.
