Sejin Song is interested in the boundary between the individual and society and deals with issues of gender, race, labor, and memory based on research.

Inspired by the symbiotic relationship between different species, Song explores the ambiguous boundaries between individual and social memory through 《Mutualism》. Through video and glass, the artist delves into the phenomenon in which personal experiences and memories are generated, transmuted, and percolated by fake news from society and online.

Through his video work and glass sculptures, Sejin Song questions the relationship between individual memories that remain like traces on the body and information from an unknown source that manipulates and refracts them. 'Mutualism' is an experience of finding where material and non-material, experience and non-experience, meet.
