《Still Life: Objects of Our Time》 brings together artists across generations; each producing a still life painting especially for this this occasion. While framing it within the contemporary moment, the presentation parses the art historic tradition of still life painting, attending to the works on view in lieu of Korea’s modern history and contemporary culture. The exhibition is accompanied by an essay written by Meene An.
