‘The new frontier of bands,’ HYUKOH, has unveiled the first glimpse of their full-length album along with the teaser video for the title track.

On the night of the 13th, HYUKOH released the teaser video for the title track ‘TOMBOY’ from their first full-length album ‘23.’

The released ‘TOMBOY’ teaser video is an animation composed solely of simple black drawings and brush strokes, depicting scenes of dancing figures, dense forests and mountains, and chirping birds, creating a peculiar resonance in harmony with the calm mood of the new song.

In particular, the partially revealed new track ‘TOMBOY’ features HYUKOH’s signature emotional lyrics and lyrical melody, while vocalist Oh Hyuk’s distinctive voice color immediately captures the listener’s attention, further raising anticipation for the song.

The music video for ‘TOMBOY’ was created by the promising artist Park Gwangsoo, who has participated in five solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions, including the exhibition 《A More Dark Forest》 held at Kumho Museum of Art in Seoul last year, and has received the Doosan Yonkang Art Award and Chongkundang Yesuljisang. He translated his distinctive artistic style into HYUKOH’s sensibility, resulting in a compelling music video.

HYUKOH debuted in 2014 and gained great popularity with songs such as ‘Wi Ing Wi Ing,’ ‘Ohio,’ ‘Wari Gari,’ ‘Gondry,’ and ‘Big Bird.’ After appearing on MBC’s ‘Infinite Challenge’ in 2015, they achieved mainstream recognition and established themselves as a representative band in Korea, spanning both the major music market and the indie scene.

In addition, HYUKOH has been invited to perform at major international festivals such as Japan’s ‘Summersonic,’ Hong Kong’s ‘Clockenflap Music Festival,’ and China’s ‘Strawberry Music Festival,’ and has also gained global popularity not only in music but in the fashion industry, being selected as an Asia advertising model for Converse and a cover model for Dazed China.

Meanwhile, HYUKOH’s first full-length album ‘23’ will be released on the 24th at 6 PM through various domestic music platforms, and online pre-orders will begin at 11 AM on the 14th.
