LG Uplus Gallery C presents the exhibition 《Collecting Cities》 featuring three artists—Junhyeong Park, Sangyeop Lee, and Minkyoo Choi—during the lush green summer season. This exhibition is a group show that examines the “city” of our everyday life through various conceptual approaches. The artists visualize not only the spaces we can see but also those that cannot be visually perceived. By taking the visible and invisible worlds as motifs and visualizing them through their own sculptural languages, they bring together divided elements to create new sculptural spaces.

The exhibition features Junhyeong Park’s ‘A Scenery’ series, which explores intersections between constructed urban forms shaped by time and space and the fluctuations of nature through painting; Sangyeop Lee’s ‘City Landscape’ series, which interprets the world of light and urban scenery through the fundamental elements of line, form, and color; and Minkyoo Choi’s ‘Blank–Hide and Seek’ series, which deconstructs three-dimensional real architecture within the artist’s own world and redesigns it to create new spatial structures.

The three artists explore and expand the concept of the “city” from their own perspectives. By raising questions about the origins of the city and carefully revealing the sacred vitality that breathes within it, they seek to reexamine ourselves. Through 《Collecting Cities》, which stimulates free imagination for those living in the city, viewers are invited to experience the passionate spirit of exploration of young artists.
