The meaning of seeing has been varied from ancient to modern times. Seeing is more than just observing an object, it is discernment and understanding, and through this process, an experience in which meaning arises is also achieved. In the production and consumption of countless images on the Internet, the behavior has a shortened process of being absorbed sensibly and quickly before the essence is understood. High-performed digital cameras can quickly take more than 10 photos per second, and macro lenses perform better than the naked eye, so the experience with photography overwhelms the visual experience depending on the various techniques.

The landscape that Gijeong Goo presents through the 《Defaulted》 exhibition is closer to the reproduction of an experiential landscape in which human discernment and understanding are mixed, rather than natural scenery. He thinks it is the attitude of digital photography to reveal the tools involved in the default settings of the digital image world that cannot be easily seen by the naked eye, through the process of understanding various meanings of the natural appearance today.

He uses Content-Aware Fill and Bump Mapping and makes the state of the world involved known clearly. When you enter the exhibition hall, you can see the video while looking at the transparent surface and the described world in it. The work installed through wallpapers and frames on the upper floor of the exhibition hall overlaps the functions of the image software. This graphic image work that is created like a photograph shows the complex and enhanced world through technology.
