The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Choi Hwiyeong; hereafter MCST) and the Korea Arts Management Support Center (President Kim Jang-ho; hereafter KAMS) hosted Day 2 of the program 2025 Dive into Korean Art on Monday the 1st, inviting 14 key figures from the international art field to visit the studios of eight Korean emerging and mid-career artists (teams).

Designed to support the overseas expansion of Korean artists, 2025 Dive into Korean Art aims to help practitioners who are active on the front lines of contemporary art enter the global stage.

The morning program on Day 2 began with a visit to the special exhibition “Dialogue: Delivery Unconfirmed,” organized by MCST and KAMS, followed by tours of major exhibitions around the Samcheong-dong area, offering firsthand insight into currents in Korean contemporary art.

The delegation then visited the studio of artist Kwon Byungjun in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. The visitors expressed keen interest in the artist’s practice, which fuses everyday materials, machines, and sound aesthetics.

Next, the group toured the studio of artist Park Min-ha in Ilsan, Goyang. The space, reminiscent of a small exhibition venue, provided a setting for active exchange with the artist. The third day of the program will take place on Tuesday the 2nd.

Meanwhile, KAMS will co-organize the talk program “2025 Kiaf SEOUL x KAMS x Frieze Seoul” from Thursday, September 4 to Saturday, September 6. A total of 37 speakers and moderators from the Korean and international art scenes will engage in wide-ranging discussions about the global art market.
