STRAW-A is recruiting artists to participate in the 〈3rd Emerging Artist Exhibition Competition Project: STRA-OUT〉 from December 20, 2024 to January 31, 2025 to support the creative activities of emerging artists and discover talented artists.

Since its opening in 2011, Yangpyeong Museum of Art has been exploring the role of contemporary public art museums while actively supporting emerging artists through various initiatives. Now in its second edition, the "New Indépendants" program is dedicated to discovering and fostering outstanding emerging artists. Through in-depth research, the program sheds light on their artistic perspectives and experimental approaches. Just as the original Indépendants artists once did, we seek experimental works and artists capable of generating critical discourse. We invite emerging artists who are shaping not just contemporary art but the art of tomorrow to apply and participate.

We are pleased to announce our open call for the next AIR Program in which 7 ARTISTS from ABROAD, JAPAN and FUKUOKA will be invited to join us. The application period is from JANUARY 16 to FEBRUARY 16, 2025. We are looking forward to your application!
