2025 Seoul Sculpture Festival - 2nd Seoul Sculpture Award Competition Announcement
As part of the 2025 Sculpture City Seoul Project to support the experimental work of sculptors and expand the artistic experience in citizens’ daily lives, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is holding a contest for the 2nd Seoul Sculpture Award to be held at the downtown cultural space ‘Ttukseom Hangang Park.’ We hope for active interest and participation from capable artists.

Since its opening in 2011, Yangpyeong Museum of Art has been exploring the role of contemporary public art museums while actively supporting emerging artists through various initiatives. Now in its second edition, the "New Indépendants" program is dedicated to discovering and fostering outstanding emerging artists. Through in-depth research, the program sheds light on their artistic perspectives and experimental approaches. Just as the original Indépendants artists once did, we seek experimental works and artists capable of generating critical discourse. We invite emerging artists who are shaping not just contemporary art but the art of tomorrow to apply and participate.
