Since its opening in 2011, Yangpyeong Museum of Art has been exploring the role of contemporary public art museums while actively supporting emerging artists through various initiatives. Now in its second edition, the "New Indépendants" program is dedicated to discovering and fostering outstanding emerging artists. Through in-depth research, the program sheds light on their artistic perspectives and experimental approaches. Just as the original Indépendants artists once did, we seek experimental works and artists capable of generating critical discourse. We invite emerging artists who are shaping not just contemporary art but the art of tomorrow to apply and participate.

The Busan Cultural Foundation actively supports the activities of young artists, expands the base of youth culture, and expands opportunities for citizens to enjoy culture. In order to create a vibrant cultural city of Busan filled with youth, the Busan Cultural Foundation is implementing a youth culture development support project. We would like to inform you of the application requirements for 〈Support for Creative Activities of Young Artists〉, so please show your interest and support.

The Seoul Museum of Art has been operating the 〈New Artist & Curators Support Program〉 since 2008 to support the creative activities of talented emerging artists. This program, now in its 18th year, not only supports all expenses for exhibition implementation, but also seeks to strengthen the creative capabilities and networking of emerging artists through multifaceted support utilizing the museum’s infrastructure. We hope that many interested artists and planners will participate.

Hoban Cultural Foundation, with the aim of establishing a new future for visual arts in South Korea through the diverse and fresh perspectives of young artists, has been hosting the Emerging Artist Awards annually.

What is Goyang Artist 365+? Launched in 2017, Goyang Artist 365 has established itself as a leading artist support program in Goyang City. Goyang Artist 365+ is a newly expanded initiative that provides meaningful growth opportunities for artists in innovative ways. For 2025, previous participants of Goyang Artist 365 are also eligible to apply, as prior restrictions on past participants have been lifted. Artists may apply in one of two categories: Space Support and Exhibition Support. We welcome the participation of artists who wish to contribute to the growth and expansion of Goyang’s cultural and artistic landscape in collaboration with the Goyang Cultural Foundation.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Management Service are promoting the ‘Exclusive Artist Support’ project to establish a foundation for discovering and nurturing artists in galleries, public and private art museums, and alternative spaces. We are holding a public contest for the 2025 project as follows, so we hope for your interest and participation.
