Since its opening in 2011, Yangpyeong Museum of Art has been exploring the role of contemporary public art museums while actively supporting emerging artists through various initiatives. Now in its second edition, the "New Indépendants" program is dedicated to discovering and fostering outstanding emerging artists. Through in-depth research, the program sheds light on their artistic perspectives and experimental approaches. Just as the original Indépendants artists once did, we seek experimental works and artists capable of generating critical discourse. We invite emerging artists who are shaping not just contemporary art but the art of tomorrow to apply and participate.

ZOOM-IN Special Exhibition has become an important part of the dynamic fair scene, introducing the work of emerging artists and helping them to move on to a wider stage.

We are seeking creatives and artists to collaborate with Thomas Heatherwick, the General Director of the 5th Seoul Biennale, to create works exploring the theme of ‘Radically More Human’.
