Data consists of fragments of facts captured from the world and collections of signs that have not yet been contextualized. Information refers to the state in which such data acquires meaning through interpretation. While data remains on a level of potential possibility, information organizes the world and restructures perception through specificity and differentiation.

Within the digital environment, the two continuously intersect. Accumulated data sometimes collapses into meaninglessness, while incomplete or distorted information can, paradoxically, reveal the world with even greater precision. What matters is not simply determining truth from falsehood, but finding ways to rethink the world through the cracks and absences left behind by data and information.

《Poetic Forensic》 begins precisely from this point. In the exhibition, “forensic” does not refer to a procedure that definitively establishes facts, but to an artistic inquiry that traces existential meaning through fragmented data and incomplete records. At the same time, this process inevitably extends into a poetic dimension.

Errors in data function not merely as defects, but as openings toward new sensations and possibilities for imagination. Through nonlinear narratives, uncertain traces, and transformed images, the participating artists destabilize the boundaries between record and forgetting, truth and fiction, constructing new networks of meaning.

Through the experimental approaches of a younger generation of artists, the exhibition offers artistic interpretations of a world after technology. Within the traces left by technological thought and digital data, it captures emotions wavering amid confusion and loss of control, examining these unstable vibrations through a form of “Poetic Forensic.”
