The Savina Museum of Contemporary Art presents 《Artist Portfolio 2》 as its first special exhibition of 2015. A portfolio serves as a mobile exhibition space that embodies an artist's values and artistic vision, as well as a professional record that communicates their artistic worth.

Across the art world, portfolios have become increasingly important as effective communication tools for entering various fields, gaining recognition for one's abilities, and securing new opportunities. Following the successful presentation of 《Artist Portfolio 1》 in 2013, this exhibition brings together a new selection of artists from diverse disciplines to further develop an in-depth discussion of the portfolio.

The exhibition consists of two sections: ‘Open Portfolio’ and ‘Portfolio Archive Lounge.’ The seven artists participating in ‘Open Portfolio’ present portfolios comprising various records, including artwork images, sketches, photographs, and interviews.

Through their individual approaches, they expand the concept and format of the portfolio, whether by tracing the evolution of a series they have explored for 20 to 30 years, beginning with its earliest work, or by offering a preview of projects they are planning for the future.

The ‘Portfolio Archive Lounge’ allows visitors to browse actual portfolios by approximately 60 artists working across various disciplines, including artists participating in residency programs, designers, architects, illustrators, and dancers.

Accompanying educational programs held during the exhibition will offer visitors valuable opportunities to explore the process of developing a portfolio, from initial conceptualization to effective methods of organizing and presenting materials.
