The world in which each individual dwells is itself a succession of events, phenomena that exist prior to language. The term ‘scattered words’ refers to these phenomena, moving somewhere between language and non-language, consciousness and the unconscious, reality and the unreal. This exhibition explores how the artists sense and engage with these phenomena—what they choose to perceive and how they approach it.

Each artist sets their own conditions, based on a chosen methodology, to determine the medium and working process. Within this constructed stage, memory, time, and the surface of things become signposts pointing toward directions of thought. The artists linger within these ambiguous boundaries, building spaces where words are created, imagination is bestowed, and drifting becomes possible.
