Following exhibitions in Osan, Jeju, and Yongin, the fourth edition takes place across two sites in the heart of Seoul: Yongsan Family Park and the construction site of the new Amorepacific headquarters.

By multilayeredly mediating Yongsan's past, present, and future, the two exhibition venues, and the relationships between nature, the city, and people through art, the exhibition seeks to expand the discourse surrounding public art as it brings Part I of APMAP to a close.

The concluding chapter of APMAP Part I, 《make link》, unfolds at Yongsan Family Park and the construction site of the new Amorepacific headquarters in Yongsan. Yongsan Family Park was established after a portion of the U.S. Army's Yongsan Garrison was transferred to the Seoul Metropolitan Government in 1992 and subsequently opened to the public as a park.

Meanwhile, construction of the new headquarters, which began with the demolition of the building that had served as Amorepacific's headquarters on the former site for approximately thirty-six years, was approaching completion in early 2018. The two sites are ultimately intended to be connected into a single park through the future Yongsan Park project.

Reflecting on the past, present, and future of Yongsan, the exhibition aims to conceptually connect these two sites and to actively foster communication among diverse elements—including the city, nature, and people—through artworks. Participating artists repeatedly visited the sites, conducted research, and sought consultation while developing site-specific works.

The resulting pieces were installed throughout Yongsan Family Park (14 works) and the construction site (3 works). By experiencing works that appeal to a range of senses, visitors become active agents in generating these multilayered connections.
