《Invisible Body, Tangible Word》 presents a documentary of the same title that looks into the pathological experiences of people living with schizophrenia, based on interviews with them.

The symptoms, prognosis, and characteristics of schizophrenia cannot be reduced to a single narrative. The experience each individual undergoes is a unique domain that only that one person can fully feel.

The artist does not attempt to reproduce the symptoms of mental illness, nor does she adopt an enlightening tone that points out the irrationality of social structures. Instead, she immerses herself in the different bodies and experiences of people living with schizophrenia themselves.

Using parallel multi-channel media, the exhibition scatters these bodies and words into the world. As they collide, contrast, and at times resonate, they approach the viewer as perceptible entities in place of bodies that have been rendered invisible.
