Lee Kang Wook graduated from the Department of Painting and the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Hongik University in 2003. He later moved to the United Kingdom, where he received an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design in London in 2011, and a PhD in Fine Art from the University of East London in 2015. He is currently a professor in the Department of Painting at the College of Fine Arts, Hongik University.
