《Score for pieces of cork》 documents and metaphorizes the sectional moments of an exhibition’s trajectory—from its inception and development to its staging—through the conceptual framework of a score. The exhibition, operating as a medium in itself, engages in a process of performative inquiry, posing and responding to research-driven questions while willing to reveal the ways in which artworks reclaim or divest layers in response to their relational context.

Before an image materializes on the surface, the exhibition takes shape as an arrangement of latent markers—a practice that emerges through the conditions of the medium. Depending on its orientation, this process can either subvert or amplify the spectacle inherent in the exhibition. The score, beyond its role in proposing directionality, aspires to function dually as both archive and catalyst. It gains significance by capturing indices of what shifts between the artwork and the exhibition, marking them as signs of transition and mediation.
