《Masterful Attention Seekers》 examines the dynamics of human behavior driven by the desire for attention across diverse contexts. By categorizing the multiple layers of “attention-seeking” evident in contemporary art, the exhibition explores the history of attention as it extends from the past into the present.

Throughout human history, the impulse to gain attention has continually surfaced. Although attention is a primary motivator of human behavior, it has often been deliberately overlooked. This is because attention is a concept that demands complex discussion, and the conditions under which it emerges are highly variable and ambiguous. Any attempt to define the conditions that constitute attention-seeking behavior is, to some degree, inevitably arbitrary.

Because the phenomenon itself is expansive and lacks a fixed form, overly clear-cut analysis risks becoming a form of forced standardization. While the exhibition may remain at the level of posing questions, its core intention lies in encouraging candid, experimental, and adventurous engagement with the subject.
