The curatorial concept of the 《Mussolini Podcast》 is based on Ahn Jae Woo’s concerns of how the vast development of generative artificial intelligence may become the worst case of fascism; with the rise of ChatGPT, Dall-E and other generative AI services, he imagined an alternative history where fascists of the past century like Mussolini and Hitler had access to A), Google Translator, which can translate their ideas in any language, and B), the podcast technology of today, which can be a platform to globally proliferate the translated ideas. How would WW2 conclude in such world, and what would the post-war history be like in such world?

As generative AI has the capability to have humanity converge towards a deductively calculated ‘standard’ set of ideas and values, it worries him that it can easily become the most powerful form of a fascist force. The exhibition is a platform where the appreciators can ponder and discuss this concern while being embedded and inspired by works of art which may facilitate such contemplation.
