Kwanwoo Park turns the deep underground space (machine room) of Platform L, located in the middle of Gangnam, into a misty and mysterious meadow. In this familiar and unfamiliar space, you see a person dancing alone. The 'dancer' soon becomes conscious of the audience, wanders around and tries something as if they are dancing together. The audience can respond, turn away, or contemplate everything outside of this situation altogether. It is all about the agitation of emotions felt in these situations.

Considered through the lens of Platform-L’s annual agenda of “symbiosis,” humans are also part of nature and products of evolution. In the structure of survival of the fittest, organisms may be culled or adapt to their environments to survive, but they also move forward by choosing the alternative path of precarious symbiosis. For Park, symbiosis here is “a dance with a stranger.” He stages the tension that arises as one encounters, keeps watch over, and circles an unfamiliar other on a wild meadow. Without affirming or negating the concept of symbiosis, he reveals this uneasy confrontation and cohabitation as it is, presenting the site as a living scene.
