Now in its third year, the LOLOLO (You and I, Nowon) Art Fair and the Nowon Youth Festival join together with Culture Salon 5120 to present the first-ever LOLOLO Festival.

The LOLOLO Art Fair takes place inside the Culture Salon 5120 space, introducing the works of young artists in a fair format shaped like an exhibition. It provides citizens with opportunities to view and purchase artworks, while simultaneously creating sales channels for emerging artists, thereby mediating encounters between the public and art(ists).

The LOLOLO Festival also extends into Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail and the nearby Hill Gallery at Dongsan High School, exhibiting works by eleven young artists. These artists explore layered perspectives on ecology and humanity, investigate the materiality of interaction produced through repetitive acts of accumulation, and offer diverse interpretations of medium and space. Within the world shaped by these eleven gazes, the festival invites audiences to encounter moments of transformation and to consider the various possibilities of public art and ecological art, providing a cultural promenade.
