'Gloryhole' was created in Seoul in 2015 and is the name of a group that produces light-emitting devices-lighting. 《Gloryhole Light Sales》 is the first exhibition to show the lighting fixtures Gloryhole has been making.

This exhibition is located in Sewoon Shopping Center, which is also a large-scale lighting arcade center, and is an exhibition that disguises the context of the'lighting showroom' they use. Her method is a way to bring out some of the old functions of the exhibition. That is, art exhibitions are both a short-term store and at the same time a place where the results of labor are seen, that is, a workshop.

The fact that she has to run her exhibitions as a store and sell her works is related to her belonging to an industrial organization, not an art organization, as a'company'. She worked on a production fee in the name of making a prototype. While remembering the meaning of pure artistic activity hidden in the word work and the ambivalent meaning of the production of means of economic activity.

It is a secret to the exhibition that her works are a kind of product, and that this is an exhibition to achieve his artistic activity is a secret to the industrial organizations that support her. But in order for her business/work to be sustainable, she has to ask questions in a state of urgency.

How is the form of an exhibition and a store different, and if the essence of the work lies in the sale itself, is it possible to achieve artistic value through the act of sale? At the same time, this question is replaced by her like this. When the immaterial light she wanted to convey is materialized into a lamp and sold, is it possible to sell light (or light sales)?

It is the only fact that lies here that she' makes lights' amidst the questions that lie here. Maybe nothing else means anything.
