The exhibition 《Displaced Impossibility: A View from Out of Place》 presents works by artist Jooyoung Oh that explore the entangled relationship between climate crisis and technology, focusing on new modes of thinking about machinic and nonhuman agency. Oh seeks to break away from anthropocentric perspectives by engaging with the multilayered dynamics of contemporary technological systems.

The exhibition features the AI-powered drone work Kestrel Drone, which examines nonhuman agency through the visual perspective of a kestrel; a video piece titled Young Bird Care Center, which speculatively imagines the restoration of endangered species; and a documentary work Displaced Impossibility, which builds a hypothetical narrative around urban bird collisions—along with related archival materials. These works collectively reflect the artist’s ongoing inquiry into coexistence within urban environments.

"Paradoxically, she interprets the strong negation of a ‘displaced impossibility’—the bird’s-eye view—through the gaze of a real-life kestrel. Her unique aerial perspective, which projects the vision of a bird onto a new dynamic system that is neither machine nor spirit-being, breaks open the frame of contemporary technology and expands the field of thought."
