Presented as part of the Coreana Museum’s research platform *c-lab 6.0, An Gayoung’s COSMIC SENSE: XR Simulation for Humankind of the Future is structured as both an online program titled Alien Co-evolution Test and an onsite experiential installation using XR (Extended Reality) technology. In the online program, participants answer a brief questionnaire gauging their level of technological dependency, based on which one of sixteen dummy character types is assigned to them, reflecting their profile.

In the offline program, visitors are invited to wear a VR headset at the second-floor experience station of the Coreana Museum of Art and participate in the XR performance. The artist leads participants through a speculative narrative centered on a future species that has migrated to a planet similar to Earth, named "Hiion." Through this immersive experience, participants are given the opportunity to reflect on how prepared they are to co-evolve with others—be they human, non-human, or environmental systems.

Selected through the open call for the “2022 Art Week: Art + Technology Audience-participatory Program,” COSMIC SENSE: XR Simulation for Humankind of the Future by *c-lab at the Coreana Museum of Art is an officially certified 2022 Art Week event (www.artweek.kr). The program is free of charge and open to the public through advance reservation. Only one person is admitted per session. For more information, please visit the Space C website: www.spacec.co.kr.
