Eighteen leading figures from the international art world will visit the studios of twelve artists based in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province in conjunction with the art fair 《Kiaf · Frieze Seoul》 this September.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister Park Bo Gyoon) and the Korea Arts Management Service (President Moon Young-ho) will run the invited speakers program 2023 Dive into Korean Art: Seoul from September 3–6. Now in its third year, the program invites global art professionals to introduce the artistic practices of Korean artists in depth and promote their international expansion.

Participants include Sohrab Mohebbi, Director of SculptureCenter New York; Yung Ma, Senior Curator at the Hayward Gallery, UK; Betsy Johnson, curator at the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum; and Noam Segal, LG Electronics Associate Curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. They will visit the studios of twelve artists: Heejoon Lee, Keem Jiyoung, Kwon Hyewon, Sungsil Ryu, Inbai Kim, Sunghong Min, Hyangro Yoon, Raejung SIM, Lee Jinju, Hong Seung-Hye, Grim Park, and Jaye Rhee.

Hong Seung-Hye presents a body of work that formalizes and spatializes abstract imagery.
