Samsung Electronics (005930) will present thirty-eight works from the 《Art Basel in Basel》 2025 collection on the ‘Samsung Art Store’.

The Samsung Art Store is a subscription service available through Samsung TVs that offers approximately 3,500 artworks by globally renowned partners and artists in 4K resolution.

The collection consists of thirty-eight contemporary artworks carefully selected from those exhibited at Art Basel in Basel 2025, held June 19–22 (local time) at Messe Basel in Switzerland, considering artistic diversity and geographic representation.

It is the largest Art Basel collection Samsung has introduced to date. It includes works based on African cultural contexts and emphasizes cultural inclusivity and diversity across emerging and established artists.

The collection features works by major artists, including Kibong Rhee’s Illusion Code From Zero, Jo Baer’s Untitled, and Lynn Hershman Leeson’s Seduction, adding both visual and thematic depth.

Samsung Electronics has been serving as the official display partner of Art Basel, successively presenting the Art Basel Miami Beach collection last December, the Art Basel Hong Kong collection this March, and now the Art Basel in Basel collection through the Samsung Art Store.

Some works from the Art Basel Hong Kong collection ranked among the global Samsung Art Store users’ Top 10 most-displayed artworks in April, demonstrating strong popularity worldwide.

Meanwhile, following Art Basel Hong Kong in March, Samsung Electronics will also operate the interactive lounge “ArtCube” at 《Art Basel in Basel》. ArtCube is an immersive showcase realized through Samsung TVs such as The Frame, Micro LED, and Neo QLED 8K, offering a new digital art experience centered on the Art Basel collection.

Art Basel Director Maike Cruse stated, “By presenting the 2025 Basel collection on the Samsung Art Store, we are able to communicate with audiences worldwide in a new way. As the Art Basel experience expands into homes, it will create opportunities to discover outstanding artists and galleries.”

Kim Yong-su, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, commented, “This year’s Art Basel collection is not only the largest ever but also culturally diverse. Through our partnership with Art Basel, we will continue to bring world-class contemporary art into people’s homes via Samsung Art TVs.”
