Earth, wind, and sea leave behind traces of passing sensation. Even without stating meaning, time has already accumulated there and movement has permeated it; sensation comes into play before explanation. 《A POETICS OF EARTH, WIND, AND SEA》 begins as a poetic response to such ways of nature—of dwelling, brushing past, and accumulating.

Meeyoung Kim, Jazoo Yang, and Haku Sungho approach the question of how to leave the place where sensation arises and lingers, each through different media and attitudes. In painting, layered traces remain through material and bodily gesture, their aftertone subtly inflected through passage and tremor. Sound, unfixed by intention or interpretation, remains in space as resonance, quietly widening the field of perception.

《A POETICS OF EARTH, WIND, AND SEA》 does not represent nature. Rather, it unfolds in a structure akin to the way nature leaves its presence in the world. Instead of defining what something is, the viewer remains before the works, attuning perception between surface and space, sound and silence.

Within a landscape that seems to move while still, and remain still while in motion, the exhibition does not settle into clear interpretation, but remains a poetics in which sensation opens.
