Factory2's 2023 curated exhibition 《An Angel at My Table》 likens a small, meaning-imbued object — the kind that might sit on someone's desk — to an "angel." More than 180 "angels," each carefully crafted by 33 artists, gather together for this exhibition. Having passed through the hands and hearts of the artists, these angels fill the gallery, standing shoulder to shoulder and gazing at one another.

Through purchase — and thus acquisition — an "angel" is chosen by a visitor to the exhibition and relocates to someone else's "table." In their new owner's environment, each variously shaped "angel" will form another, singular relationship, conjuring a special scene within that person's life, free of any hierarchy and beyond narrative context.

The exhibition is divided into two parts. Each part is planned around an entirely different exhibition landscape, with the relationships — between angel and angel, and between angel and viewer — creating a different scene each time. In Part 2, participating artists and visitors will also expand the exhibition's narrative through a variety of workshops mediated by the angels.
