Wumin Art Center presents 《Still-we are connected》 from September 5 to October 31, 2025, as a thematic special exhibition connected to “Connecting Museums & Galleries” of the 2025 Cheongju Craft Biennale.

This exhibition explores, from an artistic perspective, the meaning of “connection” as it expands beyond digital technology-based connection into emotional and ontological interaction. Through networks in contemporary society, we are organically connected, yet the exhibition seeks to reflect deeply through art on how such connection operates on emotional and ontological levels.

This exhibition features four contemporary artists—Lim Bae Jihui, Ye-eun Min, Park Haebin, and Chung Chulgyu—who express various aspects of contemporary “connectedness” through diverse media, including painting, installation, and media. Each artist considers the self within relationships with others and visually realizes the process of examining those relationships from multiple angles.

Moving beyond technological connection, the exhibition presents a site of artistic practice that restores a sense of “Co-Being” on the levels of affect-response-coexistence, and reveals that the other and the subject are essentially connected.

During the exhibition period, Wumin Art Center participates in the “Art Travel” program operated as part of the 2025 Korea Art Festival, offering various opportunities for experience, including exhibition tours with curators and docents, as well as artist-related programs. In addition, through regular programs and Wumin Art Center’s official audio guide app “Wudio,” visitors can listen to exhibition commentary independently.

This exhibition reexamines the complex meaning of “connectedness” that we face today, and will establish itself as an important site of discourse and practice that explores the possibility of art responding to it ethically and creatively.
