《Art&Sex #1: Sex+Guilty Pleasure》 explores the relationship between ‘sex’ and ‘social norms’.

By featuring works of artists from different generations, the exhibition delves into our current sexual culture. Established artists who have lived through a conservative sexual culture and young artists who have lived through a liberal sexual culture share a common theme of denouncing the irrational oppression of sexuality.

Their works reveal the discrepancy between sexual norms and actual sexuality, and the bitterness brought about by the illusion of social norms. The exhibition raises the question of whether current sexual norms are making real sexual issues that should disappear within social norms, become ‘secret’.
