Can the psychological currents and emotional conflicts that arise in everyday relationships be described through the concept of “power”? When forming relationships with family members, romantic partners, friends, supervisors and colleagues, or teachers, seniors, and juniors, we develop certain role expectations.

These expectations arise within relationships that have become fixed into habitual patterns and may serve as major triggers of psychological power. Focusing on psychological power—a problem that often remains confined to personal and intimate experience and therefore struggles to gain traction as a universal concern—the exhibition invites viewers to reconsider the concealed operations of power within everyday relationships.
