Gallery NoW presents 《THE DOTS III》, a group exhibition featuring Seo Sangik, Song Jiyeon, Yoo Hyunmi, Jeong Zik Seong, and Ham Doha—artists who continue to define significant trajectories within the diverse contexts of contemporary Korean art.

The exhibition follows 《THE DOTS: Kim Kang Yong, Guk Dae Ho, Yoon Byung Rock, Nam Kyungmin, Kim Jun Sik》 (November 2023) and 《THE DOTS II: Lee Suk Ju, Lee Dongi, Jung Haiyun, Song Myungjin, Ha Tae Im》 (June 2024).

《THE DOTS》 focused on works grounded in the representation of objects while revealing narratives expanded through each artist's unique visual language. 《THE DOTS II》 explored the multiple layers of artistic intention embedded within images shaped by the artists' perceptions and interpretations of phenomena.

《THE DOTS III》 moves beyond methodology to offer richer narratives that unfold the emotions and sensibilities embedded in everyday life. At the heart of the exhibition is an exploration of human emotion and the inner life that transcend time and space.

Questions surrounding the ontological meaning of human existence, the environments that organically surround us, and the social conditions we inhabit become essential subjects through which the participating artists examine their inner worlds.

Bringing together a diverse range of artistic languages—including painting, photography, sculpture, and craft-based practices—the exhibition highlights artists who, while remaining deeply committed to their respective media, share a sustained engagement with reflecting upon both their own lives and the environments in which we exist.

Following 《THE DOTS》 and 《THE DOTS II》, this exhibition continues the series' generational approach to contemporary art through the metaphor of the "dot." It serves as a platform for appreciating the many layers of value accumulated throughout each artist's long artistic practice—from emotion and reason to society, aesthetics, and art history—while inviting viewers to reconsider these interconnected dimensions within the landscape of contemporary art.
