《Water and Steamed Rice》 portrays the artist’s exploration of the concept of dissimilar entities coexisting as a single life within an organic structure that adapts to each other’s characteristics. However, the artist takes this idea further to demonstrate how human beings adapt to the given environment based on personal experience.

Her interest in the most mundane and fragile elements in everyday life, the interdependent relationships they have while maintaining and respecting each other’s characteristics, and the ecological phenomena that germinate in the mechanisms of these relationships are captured with her delicate and astute observations.
