The Amorepacific Museum of Art (Director: Seungchang Jeon) is presenting the third edition of its contemporary art project, APMAP (Amorepacific Museum of Art Project), through October 25 in the outdoor gardens of the Amorepacific Research & Development Center in Giheung-gu, Yongin.

APMAP is a project initiated by the Amorepacific Museum of Art to discover emerging artists and contribute to the popularization and development of contemporary art.

Since its launch in 2013, the project has taken place at different Amorepacific sites each year, beginning at AMORE Beauty Park in Osan (2013), followed by the Osulloc tea fields in Seogwang, Jeju (2014), the gardens of the Amorepacific R&D Center in Yongin (2015), and the construction site of Amorepacific's new headquarters in Seoul (2016). Each edition features a newly selected theme and participating artists.

The theme for this year's exhibition is "Researcher's Way." Participating artists include Hyesoo Park, JaeHoon Jung, Jin Dallae & Park Woohyuk, Kayip + Jong-in Lee, Mink & Everyware, Bang & Lee, Kijin Park, Zerolab, Jaiyoung Cho, Seung-il Chung, OBBA, Jiyeon Song, Soo-in Yang, Sunghyun Cho, Hye Yeon Nam, and Hyelim Cha.

Sixteen artists and collaborative teams present newly commissioned site-specific works across a wide range of media, including sculpture, installation, interactive media, sound, and architecture.

The exhibition is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Two docent-led tours are offered each day at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Admission is free.
