Suwon City’s Gosaek Newseum is running the experience program “A Way to Look Again at an Exhibition,” connected to the special exhibition 《Again, Hope Look》, until December 29.

《Again, Hope Look》 is an exhibition that contains the cyclical meaning of “Again,” “Hope,” and “Look,” expressing the wish to once again speak to things that have been alienated and left behind within a social system that pursues efficient production and abundant life.

Five artists—Ko Woori, Park Sooyeon, So Mijeong, Jung Jaehee, and Heo Taewon—participate in the exhibition, presenting a total of 19 works. Representative works include Exterior2 04(Ko Woori), Drying Rack Holder(Park Sooyeon), What into What(So Mijeong), Present(Jung Jaehee), and Pots(Heo Taewon).

The exhibition-linked experience program “A Way to Look Again at an Exhibition” is also being offered. It includes two lectures by an art critic under the theme of “Easy Ways to Appreciate Contemporary Art,” as well as eight “exhibition-linked programs” with participating artists, organized around four themes: nature, language, cooperation, and the self.

A Suwon City official said, “This is an exhibition where viewers can think about the meaning of things that are discarded and marginalized,” and added, “We ask for much viewing and participation from citizens.”
