The Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture will host the 《Corporate Briefing Session for a Sustainable Society》, presenting examples of collaboration within corporate ESG management under the theme “Encounters Between Corporations and Artists,” at 3 p.m. on the 10th at the Youth Arts Center in Chungjeongno.

Now in its third year, the briefing session will feature vivid presentations by artists sharing real cases of collaboration between corporations and artists that the foundation has cultivated over the years.

As both a mediator connecting corporations and artists and a collaborative platform, the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture will introduce its strengths and suggest ways to develop cultural and artistic partnership models tailored to the characteristics of individual companies.

In particular, artists from the fields of craft, disability arts, and media art—representing notable cases of synergy created through corporate collaboration—will participate directly to discuss their collaborative processes and share reflections on their experiences. The event is expected to offer valuable insight for companies considering partnerships within the arts and culture sector.

Laumkon, an artist duo currently residing at the Seoul Disability Arts Center, will present “Art Accessibility: Art and Society Transformed by Disability.” Media artist Sung Rok Choi will speak on the theme “Urban Landscapes Transformed by Young Artists and Corporations,” discussing the positive synergies generated through corporate collaborations from the perspective of a young artist.

In addition, attendees will be able to learn about successful project cases from Seoul Art Space Sindang, a platform specializing in craft arts. Together with companies such as SHINSEGAE L&B, POSCO Holdings, and Lotte Department Store, the platform will share diverse examples of how a single artistic genre can expand into areas such as revitalizing local commercial districts, distributing craft works, and developing eco-friendly products.

In particular, POSCO Holdings will introduce its “Eco-Friendly Craft Product Development Support Project,” funded through donations of one percent of employees’ salaries, while presenting the company’s vision for a sustainable society.

The session is open to anyone interested in discovering emerging artists, collaborating with art spaces across Seoul, and supporting civic arts education initiatives, including corporate representatives and cultural social contribution managers. A networking session following the briefing will provide opportunities to exchange new ideas and foster future collaborations.

Online registration and further information are available on the website of the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, and on-site registration will also be available on the day of the event.
