This exhibition features approximately 25 paintings, including new works by the artist. Chung focuses on multidimensional entities as conceptual constructs produced by human consciousness. In her works, the essential information of these entities is revealed through the surface texture of painting. Ultimately, the surface texture reflects a particular state of consciousness through which a subject is perceived, allowing viewers to infer the movement of consciousness.

Spanning over two decades—from works produced in 2000 to recent works from 2023—this exhibition demonstrates the development and consolidation of Chung’s “Budo Theory,” a conceptual framework through which she visualizes a multidimensional world of consciousness.
