The Korea–China–U.S. Artists Association, established to promote cultural understanding and development among the three countries through artistic exchange, was recently inaugurated and has begun its activities at the Capore Complex Cultural Space in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province.
 
The inaugural president is Park Yuri, a professor in the Department of Music at Andong National University. Representing the United States is Liz Yisun Kwon, author of Art for Everyone and The Great History of Western Art, who is actively working in New York as a curator and art consultant. Representing China is Yang Jie, a performer and educator widely recognized in Beijing.
 
To commemorate the launch of the association, President Park Yuri will present a Korea–China academic exchange concert at the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho-dong on the 26th. On the 27th, a collaborative art project in the visual arts field will take place at Wondae Historic House in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province.
