In the exhibition 《You and I look alike》, Chanmin Jeong presents a series of familiar bodily forms she has collected over time to reflect on how our identities are tangled between the digital and physical realms.

The real, tangible body—set in contrast to the virtual space of the digital—becomes a key element of introspection for the artist. Jeong regards the role of the individual as an active "subject" navigating the digital world as critical to understanding contemporary life.

Her interest extends beyond personal experience to address the paradoxical demands placed on the body in an increasingly contactless society shaped by the rapid expansion of the digital realm. As our physical selves become more heavily burdened and fatigued, Jeong’s work invites viewers to ask: what have we already lost in situations that now feel natural and inevitable?
