Rahm Parc experiments with various media including performance, installation, and sculpture to explore alternative possibilities of painting. Rather than depicting what is visible or what is being seen, her work expands the boundaries of painting by visualizing what should be seen.

In this solo exhibition, Rahm Parc presents her ongoing AUTO series once again. The works in this series are produced by first sketching with spreadsheet programs such as Excel or Google Sheets, followed by the application of paint and stencil brushes on canvas.

The paintings, rearranged for this exhibition, propose new modes of seeing and perceiving by evoking the sensations and imaginations of driving through the city at night, while also suggesting a sense of freedom that resists the total conversion of everything into data.
