Leavelize (CEO Haenghee Ko) announced on the 27th that the Art Night in Jeju tour, held in collaboration with photographer Myoung Ho Lee, has successfully concluded.

Lee, who currently serves as a public relations ambassador for the Cultural Heritage Administration, is also represented by Yossi Milo Gallery in New York. His works are included in the collections of major art institutions such as the J. Paul Getty Museum (Los Angeles, USA), Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam (Netherlands), Bibliothèque nationale de France (France), and National Gallery of Victoria (Melbourne, Australia).

His works are also owned by internationally renowned figures including Elton John and Justin Timberlake. Recently, Lee gained public attention for his Art Fence Project at the Seonwonjeon site in Deoksugung Palace and Yeonghundang area in Gyeongbokgung Palace.

The art tour was co-organized with JDC (Jeju Free International City Development Center), Jeju Shinhwa World, and Camellia Hill, proposing a new model for art tourism through participatory experiences with the artist in natural Jeju landscapes such as Camellia Hill and Nonjitmul.

On the first day of the tour at Camellia Hill, participants experienced an immersive encounter with Lee’s artworks installed on-site, feeling as if they had stepped directly into the pieces themselves. The event also featured diverse programs, including an art collecting lecture by businessman and broadcaster Mark Tetto, an image consulting session by Professor Jeongseon Hwang of Korea University’s College of Education, and an outdoor dinner in nature.

The following day included a gallery tour and a visit to Nonjitmul, one of Jeju’s most unique and picturesque locations, where participants viewed Lee’s works through the artist’s perspective behind the camera.

Participants expressed high satisfaction, noting that the art tour provided a refreshing and deeply engaging way to experience art in nature. Lee also shared that directly communicating with audiences on-site allowed him to convey the stories behind his works more effectively.

CEO Haenghee Ko of Leavelize commented, “Art Night in Jeju was designed to break away from fixed frameworks and offer a deeper connection to art. This time, we held it at Camellia Hill, but in the future, we plan to continue exploring locations such as oreum (volcanic hills), caves, and seaside venues where participants can both focus on the artworks and enjoy restful immersion in nature.”
