Explanation
This is one of the ‘Scream’ (2001~2019) series, and it is a work in which iconography is introduced into painting while the artist studies the form of painting. In a large pink flower, one screams with one’s mouth wide open. The uvula is painted as a heart, if the artist doesn’t suggest the title ‘scream’, people may not be able to understand that it is an act of screaming.
